Biography

Dr. Tov Assogbavi is a Full-Professor of Finance at Laurentian University, President of CISRO Institute of Management. He has a great interest in Information Communication Technologies (ICT) implementation covering various areas such as e-administration, e-evaluation and e-learning. He has developed substantial online course materials for both academic and professional programs. His research has been published in numerous scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, among them the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of African Finance and Economic Development and the International Business & Economics Research Journal. Dr. Assogbavi has served as a member of the Laurentian University Senate and was a member of the Laurentian University Pension Committee. Dr. Assogbavi was the recipient of the Best Empirical/Application Paper Award, 1995 Academy of Business Administration National Conference held in Reno, Nevada USA. He is the founder of the CISRO Institute of Management with a mission to foster and promote education and training in all of the functional and support disciplines of business. Dr. Assogbavi is the founder and Managing Editor of the Journal of Global Business Administration (JGBA), the Global Management Conference (GMC). He is the founding Chair of the Hillsom Achievement Award and the AfricaRise Award initiatives. Tov is the founder and CEO of Global Academic Network.
